As the winter solstice approaches in Tasmania, Miranda Morris mused on slow sock knitting and what a beautiful word "slow" can be.
Miranda Morris is a writer who has wandered a bit but has for many years settled her material self in Tasmania. Her fiction, on the other hand, takes her far and wide – Bern to Berlin, at the moment, and past and less past, 1915 and 1946.
