In this session I’m getting ready for Hibernation by setting up my Hibernation Calendar (and choosing a Hibernation pencil!).
Join me for a chat, some show-and-tell and a quiet hour's pottering. The background audio is the recording that I was making in the video I posted a couple of weeks ago as I started my new audio project, The Sounds of Slow.

For the first few minutes of the video, I’m unpacking and talking about a little gizmo that I‘ve bought to go with my camera and mini tripod. Then I settle down to some card and letter writing.
If you’ve listened to the audio podcast that I posted on Thursday, you’ll know that I had a few technical difficulties, particularly with the background soundtrack, when recording this video.
On Thursday morning, I recorded the sounds in my garden on audio tape and have edited that recording into this video. So, whilst in the video I talk about there being no sound during the pottering portion, you’ll actually be listening to early morning sounds from my garden. I hope you enjoy them.
